Dissembling America

True or false?
We spent more than $70 million investigating Whitewater/Lewinsky, which is more than we have spent investigating prisoner abuses at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay, security lapses prior to 9-11, and the misuse of intelligence that led us into the Iraq War. Combined.
If true, are we so weary of Iraq and crrraaazzy Christians that we can't work ourselves into a good outrage? It's tiring being outraged, let me tell you. Wasn't it the blue pill that one took to forget all about the Matrix? I'd like one of those, please. Today, we get to hear President Bush in the Rose Garden responding to a question about the recent Amnesty International Report. Take it away, PROFESSOR BUSH:
"It seemed like to me they based some of their decisions on the word of -- and the allegations -- by people who were held in detention, people who hate America, people that had been trained in some instances to disassemble -- that means not tell the truth. And so it was an absurd report."
I'm actually sick to my stomach now. STOP MURDERIN' MY LANGUAGE!!! And stop dissembling. Okay. Seriously now. What will it take to stop the downward spiral of lost civil rights, trashed human rights, jingoistic rhetoric, and general anti-American behavior in America? I believe impeachment would be fair, if completely unrealistic. The way Bush tells it, we should blame people who hate America. Those Righties love that phrase, don't they? What a wonderful horrific meme they've conjured up. According to them, Terrorists hate America, Liberals hate America, Journalists hate America. What, you don't like what they've done? You must hate America. Hear me now. I love this country. Love. It. I don't hate America, Mr. Bush. I just hate what you and your crowd are doing to it.

What are we going to do when Jeb runs in the next election and wins?
