On the rocks... Scotch Shortage

For Father's Day, I stopped by my neighborhood liquor store to pick-up a bottle of scotch for my dad. I'm a scotch-drinker myself, but I guess I haven't bought a bottle in a while because when I saw the prices I almost lost it. The appeared to be $20 more than the last time I bought any for myself. I'm guessing the ongoing world-wide shortage has something to do with it.
